No, as a user of this site, you can search, contact businesses at your leisure. You will need to create an account in order to purchase a membership plan, or shop.
For your convenience, you can create an account by registering, or during your shopping checkout process.
Yes, in order to submit a listing, you must first register for an Account.
To Create Your Listing, log into your account Dashboard, with your username and password. Select your Plan and complete the checkout process. Once you have completed the checkout process, you can access your dashboard, and submit your listing.
You must be logged in to submit a listing.

Yes, all Listing Membership Plans require an Account as well as completion of the check out process. Note: no payment information is required for a Free Account.
To cancel your membership plan, you will need to login to your member dashboard, select Profile, then scroll to the bottom of the page, and select the Delete button.
Yes, images can be added to your listing. In order to add your images, you must either claim your listing or become a member through a membership plan.
You can use the Free Adobe Resizer to resize your images to fit the below guidelines. https://www.adobe.com/photoshop/online/resize-image.html
Here is a list of the images we allow:
- Profile Image: 80 x 80 pixels (72 dpi)
- Logo size: 480 x 480 pixels (72 dpi) and must have a transparent background (.png)
- Header images on our site are setup to add customization to your listing. Your header image must be a .jpg image sized at 1920 x 867 pixels (72 dpi).
- You may also upload a maximum of 3 .jpg gallery images as well as a featured image all sized at: 990 x 660 pixels (72 dpi).
Please note, for the integrity of our site, when we preview your listing to publish, we reserve the right to either fix your images or delete them from your listing.
No pictures, no problem! You must, however, select a Listing Category to have a image on your listing card.
If you do not select a Listing Category, we hold the right to pick one for you.
Feel free to use the Adobe Image Resizer to resize your images to fit our guidelines.

From time to time, we will add Black Business Listings to the site. These listings normally expire within 60 days. If you are notified that a listing has been added on your behalf, you will have the opportunity to claim your listing.
In order to claim your listing, visit your listing page, and click (CLAIM LISTING). it will be located on the right side of the page. This will send a notice to our admin. Once we receive your claim, we will provide a business search for validity of your claim, and forward you a claim invoice for $75.00. (We charge this one time fee to discourage those who are not affiliated with your business from claiming your listing).
Once the invoice has been paid, you will have immediate access to your listing, and all our listing tools.
Our Basic Plan is Free for 60 Days, and comes with the following features:

Our Extended Plan comes with a 1 year membership and is billed at $75.00. This membership comes with the following features:

Our Professional Plan comes with a 1 year membership and is billed at $225.00. This membership comes with the following features:

Yes, there is an online store available to site guest and subscribers to make a purchases.
You must create an account and be logged in to become a Member in order to list your business on the site.
In order to sell your merchandise on the CABBL site, you will need to upgrade your membership to the Vendor Store Plan. You will then have the ability to upload your products and sell through the CABBL Store as well as on your personal Listing Page.
You cannot purchase products from our Store and order a membership plan on the same order. These are separate Services, therefore, require separate orders.
No, you do not need to be a member to purchase ad space.
Ad sizes and cost are below and are based on 8 1/2 x 11 (72 dpi) final online book size (Note: Currently, we are only offering the magazine online. When available, Pint Sizes and Pricing will differ):
- Back Page: $1,475.00 (Per Issue)
- Full Page: $795.00 (Per Issue)
- Half Page: $575.00 (Per Issue)
- 1/4 Page: 325.00 (Per Issue)
- Business Card AD: $150.00 (Per Issue)
Complimentary Ads come with a paid Membership Plan. Sizes vary depending on Membership Plan level. (20% Discount is available for securing ad space in multiple issues)

After you pay for your ad, email your camera ready artwork to: info@cabbl.com by the issue deadline in order to be published in the current issue. If you ad is received after the deadline, it will be published in the next issue.

CABBL is an asset of the California Black Expo. As such, we help advertise events which are setup through the Expo. You will see Hosted events and Information in the Featured Listings /Event Category sections of the site from time to time.
We also host online education events from time to time for entrepreneurs and new business owners. Those will also be visible through the Featured Listings section on the homepage of our site.
Please note: due to Covid-19, the Expo is not hosting in person events.
